These are steps we follow with most of our painting projects:
Power Wash the area(s) to be painted (allowing plenty of time for the materials to dry adequately)
Caulk and/or weatherize as needed
Look for and make note of damaged or rotted wood or other building materials in the areas to be painted
Replace or repair damaged materials as needed (but only after consultation with the owner)
Remove gutter downspouts, shutters, and mask or tape areas to be protected
Spray or Roll 2 coats of top quality paint (we recommend Sherman Williams paints)
When all painting is complete, we ask the owners to inspect the work to make sure they are completely satisfied
